BIOGRAPHY
Anita S. Duckor is a Change Strategist and Consultant. Ms. Duckor brings more than thirty-five years of multi-disciplinary organizational experience in both executive leadership and consulting.
Ms. Duckor is highly experienced in strategic planning, process and organization design, fund development, and governance. Ms. Duckor has demonstrated success in working effectively with leaders and staff in all types of organizations – public, private, profit, and nonprofit businesses, and local and regional government.
Ms. Duckor’s consulting portfolio includes work with diverse and complex stakeholders from a wide range of public and private groups. She has a proven track record of engaging these stakeholders in community building, visioning, and planning. She focuses on well-defined strategy, clear outcomes, and measurable results.
In her tenure at Northern States Power Company (a Minneapolis-based multi-state electricity and natural gas utility), she developed and managed groundbreaking new businesses, products and services. Notable achievements include establishing a new energy services business venture, an affordable housing subsidiary, and a first-ever retail electric delivery-marketing department. Previously, while at San Diego Electric and Gas, she developed the first energy conservation program for commercial and industrial customers to be approved by the California Energy Commission.
Ms. Duckor has served on more than 25 regional, state, and national governing boards for the arts, community and economic development, including affordable housing, trade associations, and social justice nonprofits.

PAST PUBLICLY HELD POSITION:
Minneapolis Public Library Board Trustee, 2001 -2007, President, 2006-2007,Chair, General Committee and Chair, Personnel Committee, 2002-2005.
In that role, Ms. Duckor led a strategic planning effort and facilitated a merger of two library systems and help raise more than $16.5 million for the new Minneapolis Central Library. Ms. Duckor was the executive director of The Friends of the Minneapolis Public Library.
